The Sheriff for Everyone!

Serving The Community

During my tenure as your Sheriff over the past 2.5 years, I've been proud to oversee the restoration of law enforcement at the Sheriff's Office, which has helped achieve the lowest crime rates in decades. Additionally, our community involvement has been outstanding. My officers and I have led volunteer efforts across the 23 municipalities, engaging in various community events and initiatives. These include senior scam seminars, veterans' outreach, drug awareness programs, HERO campaign, school activities, and youth mentoring to name a few. We prioritize community feedback, regularly attend city council meetings, and remain committed to our duty.

The Atlantic County Sheriff's Office has an unparalleled record of community involvement, which I'm proud to highlight. Our motto 'we are here to serve and protect' is more than just a phrase. Thank you for your support.

This is a non-partisan message.

My commitment is reflected in my slogan:
'THE SHERIFF FOR EVERYONE.'
We're making Atlantic County safer together.

Please reach us at mario208@aol.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

As a young half Japanese child growing up in the inlet of Atlantic City, some kids would tease me and older kids would chase me home calling me TOKYO JOE. As I got older and wiser, I decided to take the power away from them and own the name. Since then, it has become my name. Most of my friends today just call me "TOKYO"
